Hello everyone. Carson here and welcome back to my channel. Now in today's video, I wanted to go ahead and give you a really quick rundown of what WordPress hosting actually means and what WordPress hosting is and if you should use it or not. Now before we do get into this video, just a reminder to leave a like subscribe and hit that notification Bell. And I will also leave a link to one of my favorite WordPress hosts in the description below so you can check it out if you would like to do that.

Because if you do think during this video that WordPress hosting could be for you, you can check out the one I've got in the description. And now let's go ahead and get started. Now, WordPress hosting is essentially in its more simplest form a subcategory of other types of hosting, usually either shared hosting or VPs hosting. Now it is a slightly different subcategory just depending on the type of hosting, but I will cover both. Essentially, WordPress hosting is a type of hosting which only allows WordPress or is only optimized for WordPress or the WordPress CMS or content management system.

This basically means that you won't be able to host any other CMS or content management systems on your server. However, it will be optimized for WordPress as to provide the best speeds possible for a WordPress website, as well as the best security and best performance overall. Now the two subcategories, which are essentially shared hosting and VPs hosting, are only distinct by the fact tha

t one is a VPs host, which usually means you would set it up yourself and the other is a shared host which means it will be automatically set up for you. Now, depending on the one you go with, there are some different features, but overall they remain the same. Now in case you're wondering which one is better, well, personally I recommend the VPs shared hosting or VPs WordPress hosting because VPs hosts are just overall better, have better performance, have better security than shared hosts, especially the one that I actually do recommend in the description below.

It's called Scala Hosting and it is absolutely fantastic on all fronts. It has a 99 point 98% security automated system. It's got free website migration for all of your websites. It's got a 30 day money back guarantee, free domain name and free SSL for all your websites for one year. It's got a bunch of other features as well, including super great customer support, which is very, very fast and people you get in contact with are very knowledgeable.

So if you want to check that out, you can do that using my link in the description. But now why would you use WordPress hosting? Well, you would use WordPress hosting specifically if you don't really plan to host any other type of CMS or content management system on your website. If you're only going with WordPress and you only have plans to go with WordPress definitely use VR WordPress hosting because it's just more efficient and it has better performance overall. That is going to do it for this video though.

So thanks for watching remember to leave a like subscribe and hit that notification Bell and I will see you in the next video.
